SEM Search Engine Marketing
Catch customers at the exact moment they search for you.
Search ads put you at the top of results for people already looking for what you sell. We build tightly structured Google and Microsoft Ads campaigns, write ads that earn the click, and track every lead back to the keyword that brought it in.
Sound familiar?
If you’ve said any of these, we should talk.
Our Google Ads spend keeps rising, leads don’t.
We’re paying for clicks on irrelevant searches.
We can’t tell which keywords make us money.
Totally normal — and fixable. Here’s exactly how we handle it.

Good questions
SEM questions, answered.
What’s the difference between SEM and PPC?
SEM (Search Engine Marketing) is paid advertising on search engines like Google and Bing, targeting people actively searching. PPC (pay-per-click) is the pricing model used across many platforms, including social and display. At Yourmediafriend, our SEM service covers search ads, and our PPC service covers paid social, video and display.
How much should we spend on Google Ads?
It depends on your market’s cost per click and how many leads you need. We’ll estimate a realistic starting budget from keyword data before you spend anything, then adjust based on actual cost per lead.
Is ad spend included in your fee?
No. Ad spend is paid directly to Google or Microsoft from your own account, so you always own the account and data. Our management fee is separate.
How quickly will we see results?
Search ads can bring traffic on day one. Expect 4–8 weeks of optimization for costs to stabilise and performance to become predictable.
